Megan is a driven and detail-focused Civil Litigator at Horsley Law, bringing with her over five years of hands-on litigation experience and a background in managing high-volume caseloads with precision and professionalism.
Starting her legal career as a Pre-Litigation Paralegal, Megan quickly progressed to managing Fast Track and Multi-Track cases, gaining valuable expertise in areas such as contractual disputes, liability assessment, and CPR compliance. She has since built an impressive track record in drafting complex legal documents, negotiating settlements, and supporting trial preparation, including working directly with Counsel and attending court.
With a meticulous eye for detail and a strong sense of client care, Megan excels at balancing legal strategy with practical problem-solving. She is passionate about delivering high standards and clear communication throughout each case, ensuring clients feel supported and informed.
Before transitioning into law, Megan held management positions in operational and client-facing roles, where she developed leadership, negotiation and team coordination skills – all of which enhance her litigation practice today.
Having developed a passion to bring those key skills forwards into her future, Megan is now pursing her professional CPQ qualification through CILEX Law School, proudly funded by the Firm along with experienced supervision and unwavering support.
Outside of work, Megan’s background in international sport reflects her collaborative nature and competitive spirit. She is also a key member of the volunteer team for Stafford Rangers F.C. where Megan also holds the role of their Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Officer, as well as being a volunteer and licenced chaperone at a local dance school. She brings the same energy, loyalty, and commitment to achieving results for every client she represents.
I’m a dedicated Civil Litigator with over five years of experience managing a high-volume caseload across Fast Track and Multi-Track claims. With a strong foundation in legal drafting, negotiation, and litigation strategy, I thrive on handling complex disputes with clarity, precision, and a client-first mindset.
Starting as a Pre-Litigation Paralegal, I’ve developed my career through hands-on experience with CPR rules, court procedures, and a wide variety of civil matters. I regularly prepare court-compliant documents, liaise with Counsel, attend hearings, and guide clients through challenging legal processes with confidence and compassion.
Before law, I worked in operations and team leadership roles – managing branches, KPIs, and compliance under national frameworks. This background sharpened my commercial awareness and ability to work under pressure, which directly supports my approach to litigation today.
I’m highly organised, detail-driven, and thrive in collaborative environments. Whether I’m reviewing complex evidence or negotiating outcomes, I aim to bring clarity, professionalism, and results to every case.
